Hinckley casino buffet menu

This was my second trip to this casino, but I had never attended a performance. Attended the Kid Rock concert at Grand Casino Hinckley on 8/19. There is also a beverage station for pop and water, which I believe. I had the salad bar ($5.95 for small) and a beer ($7.00). There seemed to be plenty of seating and a consistent line waiting to enter. Stations you could choose from were: Asian, Italian, American, Mexican Taqueria, Soup & Sandwich, Comfort Food, Sweets, and Salad Bar. Upon entry, you are given a plastic 'charge' card that you use to obtain your food. We ended up eating at Grand Provisions-a cafeteria style eatery. Instead, there were three restaurants to choose from: 1) the Winds Steakhouse, 2) Stories Diner, and 3) Grand Provisions. We planned on having the buffet, but quickly found out the buffet was no longer there. We wanted to have dinner before the show, since we weren't sure what would be offered inside the amphitheater. We arrived about three hours prior to concert start time, and parking was easily available right outside the amphitheater. We forewent booking a room at those prices. It wasn't until early August that a few rooms opened up but at a premium price (approx $279/night). After purchasing tickets for the concert back in May, I looked into booking a room at the casino.
